Compact prismatic sight PP3 has been designed for the purpose of being used with the self-loading short rifles for which the sight is primarily selected on the basis of minimum wight and dimensions and maximum view angles. The sight is intended for being mounted on a weapon provided both with a Picatinny top plate and with a side plate of “Saiga”/”Vepr” type.

Relatively small 3x magnification and excellent field-of-view angle of 7° at the sufficient eye relief of 75 mm allow taking all advantages of short rifles at all effective fire ranges. Use of the ±5 dptr eyepiece adjustment range compensates for the absence of lenses and allows comfortable operation for shooters with different eye ametropias.
